Sophie
I was interested in reading your post. I too am continuously cold. Today is the first day I have really felt warm since last year. My hands, feet and nose are always cold. I too have also put on a lot of weight which I presumed would keep me warmer but has not.
I was thinking about mentioning it to my Consultant when I see him next week as my Husband says it is not normal to feel so cold all the time. I do have to take blood pressure tablets so was wondering if this might have been a cause.

Just a thought Jackie.
Gaining weight and feeling the cold are symptoms of underactive thyroid. Not that I'm saying you have this, but might be worth asking to be tested for it.

Jackie i would definitely mention it as Doreen says these can be signs of under active thyroid, i had mine tested but the hospital said it was ok, so mine must be the drug side effects ,i too have not had cold hands today its the first time ive felt warm for a long time probably because its a heat wave ! Lol

Hi Sophie,
I have just asked Mark about thyroid probs as he has underactive and I know he was
boiling
most of the time- but he says to tell you the GP told him it can go both ways- ie freezing or sweating. Perhaps have the thyroid checked as it is auto-immune?
Also- I am not sure if you already have tried this but I used to wear leg warmers (former ballet dancer!LOL) ALL the time around my knees! But you can put them in most places! LOL Things like pashmina scarfs are very helpful in warming the body up..
Much love,
Amanda
